Who else thinks Valentine's Day is just another day created by women to get gifts?
Seriously! What kind of gifts do men get on Valentine's Day? They get a homemade meal or a nice shirt or some other lame-o gift. Women get roses, jewelry, candy, expensive dinners somewhere, or a weekend getaway at a "romantic" hotel. This holiday is DEFINITELY a woman-created day; right?!
Yes, I am a girl; but I think it's silly how females use every tool they can to get gifts and money out of men. I hate the fact that I have to be part of their gender sometimes......
I have a special someone! I have been happily married for 10 years. Every year, my husband and I discuss this holiday, and I just wanted other views on it. He feels the same way I do, and usually he will bring me a single rose. I know he loves me, and I don't need a $1000 diamond or a $300 dinner to prove it.
I don't know exactly if women CREATED Valentine's Day, but they've definitely managed to twist it to their selfish desires! (Just like weddings.)
